While this term is inclusive of headmates who were created by forcible means or shaping, it can also refer to headmates who were affected abusively after their formation.
For example, imagine a headmate who came to exist through natural means but who was known by an abuser, and that abuser took advantage of that headmate having an ongoing source to convince them that their source would end a certain way, thus controlling the timeline memories of that headmate going forward. This would be a shaped headmate or a forcimate.
In terms of programming, headmates who have received programming are forcimates, regardless of whether they were created through those means. However, the term "programmed headmate" often carries a connotation that that headmate has certain cues or was programmed according to a particular script. This is not inherently true nor meant to be implied with the term "forcimate".
While forcimates can be created through forcible means, that is not always the case. However, one sometimes might not know if a headmate one has came to exist through shaping or was just abusively affected after their formation, so this term would cover ambiguous or unknown cases too.
A forcimate is, by definition, a headmate who has experienced a certain kind of trauma. Whether that makes them a trauma holder is up to them. It does not make them dangerous, and it does not mean they necessarily behave a certain way (since shaping is such a broad term and no two cases are entirely alike). However, it does mean that they have been abused in ways that are informed by them being a headmate in a system, which means they might have different experiences, feelings, or issues surrounding or because of what happened.
While it is possible for a headmate to have something to do with shaping or similar forces without being shaped themselves, they would not count as a forcimate. That would fit under forciroleic. Forciroleic also covers forcimates, but is inclusive of other things too, and can be even more ambiguous than "forcimate".
